Hardener for epoxy resin and impregnating, laminating and gluing 400+120 grams
Almost colorless, with a lot of possible applications, epoxy resin for bonding, laminating, etc., has a drying time of 8-24 hours, depending on layer thickness.
Mixing ratio resin / hardener is 100: 30.
So it does not contain solvents used for styrofoam and polistyren.
Features:
- Polymerization at room temperature
- Excellent mechanical properties
- Very good resistance to moisture and UV
- Excellent adhesion to polyurethane, wood, aluminum, glass, polistyren, etc.
- Low degree of toxicity
- Appearance transparent yellow color, without impurities, unsticky
Possible applications:
- Processing objects impregnated fiberglass fabric (for model airplane, model boat hulls, etc.)
- Lamination of various objects with fiberglass fabric
- Development of transparent objects by casting in the form
- Varnishing / protection of wooden surfaces
- Paste wood / wood etc..
Instructions:
Mix the two components at 100:30 (100 parts resin and hardener 30 parts). After mixing system should be used in the next 45 minutes after beginning the process of polymerization (curing). Thin layer curing time (at 20oC) is 8-9 hours. Full curing time (at 20oC) for 14 days (after which the product can be sanded, polished and subjected to various mechanical operations).
It is mandatory to respect the ratio resin / hardener indicated. Any changes will lead to lower mechanical and thermal properties of the polymer.
Keep the resin and hardener in the dark, away from humidity, temperature 10-30oC, tightly closed.
Precautions:
- Not to be left at children hand
- The product should not be inhaled, not drinking, you should not come into contact with the eyes and should not come into contact with the skin for a long time
- If product gets in eyes, apply compresses of water and call emergency doctor
Contains epoxy constituents (toxic):
- Irritating to eyes and skin
- May cause sensitization by skin contact
- Toxic for aquatic organisms
- If the product comes into contact with skin, use soap and water
- need to use appropriate protective gloves
- If the case protect your face and eyes with the mask and goggles
