This aircraft began production in 1980, and was one of the first civilian aircraft to use Carbon fibre in its construction and this single seat glider is still being built today by Schempp-Hirth. Ventus is Latin for wind, and this is where this model is in her element, whether on the slope or aero towing this ship soon puts the ground behind her to effortlessly glide through a full aerobatic program.
